Children’s catering is mandatory for all birthday parties at The Little Southern Village, ensuring a consistent, stress-free experience for all guests. BYO Birthday cake/cupcakes allowed, no other external food or drinks are permitted.
You can customise your event with optional add-ons: children’s party favours, adult grazing platters, barista-made coffee and drinks, styling and decorations.
Add on menu:Kiddo’s Catering is $12.95 per child (Mon - Sat) or $14.95 per child (Sun)
Parents Grazing Platter- $100 Cheese, crackers and deli favourites (serves 10)
Sweet Grazing Platter – $70 (serves 10 people)
Small Barista Coffee Package - $5 small coffees if booked ahead for each attending adult

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow long is each exclusive hire session?
Each booking includes 1 hour and 45 minutes of exclusive access to The Little Southern Village.
How many guests can we bring?
You can have up to 40 guests in total, including both children and adults.
Do I have to book food?
Yes. For children’s parties, catering packages are required for all children attending.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No external food or drinks are permitted. We offer a range of catering options and allergy friendly options to try suit your event.
Please contact us if you have religious requirements or severe allergies.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
Yes — you’re welcome to bring a birthday cake and or cupcakes for your celebration. We can plate cake at no extra charge.
What time should we arrive?
You can arrive right at the start of your booking time. Our team will have everything ready for you to enjoy your session.
Can I arrive early to set up decorations?
You can arrive a maximum of 10 minutes in advance of your start time, but please note, children will not be able to play in this time as we may be restyling/cleaning from previous booking or setting up your party space.
Do you provide decorations?
Yes — we offer a small styling and decoration add-on to make your event feel extra special. You are more than welcome to bring your own though if you don’t want to include a small styling add-on.
Are adults catered for too?
Absolutely. We offer grazing platters, barista-made coffee, and drink options for adults in our add-on menu.
What happens at the end of our session?
We’ll give you a gentle reminder when your session is coming to an end so you have time to wrap up. We will then encourage all guests to kindly assist returning toys to their homes, not completely restyling the village just returning to the correct room. We then ask that guests depart promptly to allow us to prepare for the next booking.
Are Sundays available for parties?
Yes — Sundays are available for custom bookings, including flexible times and extended hire options. Please contact us to arrange.
Do you offer evening hire, workshops or private classes?
Yes — The Little Southern Village is available for evening hire, workshops and private classes on request.
This is a beautiful option for smaller, more intimate gatherings, creative workshops, or hosted sessions. Availability, duration and pricing are tailored to suit your event.
